Behind WBAI LSB Candidate Steve Brown's Fabulous Wealth

"Who is Steve Brown?"
& Justice and Unity Proposals
on "The Battle for Progressive Media

In the 4th edition of "The Battle for Progressive Media," John Riley and Margareth Dominique will take an in-depth look at the business history of millionaire WBAI Local Station Board member and candidate for re-election, Steve Brown. We'll examine the history of his company Raffoler, also known as Direct Marketing Enterprises LTD. Raffoler, known as the "Company with 100 names" sparked investigations for deceptive business practices by attorney general's offices in 7 states, including New York.

We'll look at why New York Assistant Attorney General Elizabeth Bradford said in a complaint against the company, ''Having shown themselves incapable of making an honest sale or a consistently timely delivery, they should not be permitted to conduct any further mail order business in the state of New York.''

We'll also discuss Justice and Unity's membership-building proposal and its 5 year plan to bring new channels to WBAI using High-Definition Radio, side-band radio and the internet.
