WBAI Local Station Board Member and long-time anti-racist activist Lisa Davis discusses the nature of the financial problems at WBAI, solutions and the nature of the so-called "Independent" candidates running against the Justice and Unity candidates for the board. She also discusses the destructive role of Local Station Board member Steve Brown, whose recent tactics are being scrutinized by the local station board for allegedly creating a hostile workplace for some staff by making public unsubstantiated allegations against staff. The episode will also discuss a motion before the board that if passed would remove Brown from the board for conduct that is contrary to the interests of the Pacifica Radio Foundation.
